any one familiar with this shot gun: ithica model 37 USSF?
i found this shot gun at a local pawn shop for $450.00. i would like to know if anyone is familiar with this shot gun and if its a real issued military gun.

on the left side of the receiver is marked : USSF
is it worth what they are asking..
its in excellent condition and has all original parts.
yes, it is parkerized not blued. I have read about serial # being upside down, but this one’s right side up.
Chances are that it was issued within the military.
… Either way, that’s a halfway decent price on it if it’s in good condition. Try for another $50 off of it, but $450 isn’t bad at all if it’s in good shape.
