Hi everyone it’s Julie.

I’ve been a personal trainer for almost 4 years now and I wouldn’t change it for anything. But when I became a personal trainer it was hard at first. I got this personal training certifications guide and it made things so much easier and I made more money. I have finally found the secret to business success after finding a bunch of junk on the internet. Learn how I did it

Doing what I love - Running in the Mountains

I’m from Colorado and I always loved sports and running when I was a teenager and I guess it just stuck with me. I decided to go into Personal Training after highschool and I was just another fitness enthusiast helping out at the gym until I got certified. It was amazing how many doors opened up to me. I worked for a Gold’s Gym and another gym that I won’t name, but I didn’t really get to make as much as I wanted. I didn’t get to choose my clients the way I wanted. I needed more freedom to work with people one on one. I need to be free of the restrictions of someone else’s gym and business model.

I knew I needed to get certified but I didn’t know which one. I didn’t know how to run a personal training business. I couldn’t exactly ask my current boss either. I looked online for advice and turned up mostly irrelvent junk. I finally found someone selling the exact information – a Personal Training Certifications ebook about business and certs. This guide helped me figure out how to talk to future clients and prospects. I had to learn about how to treat people differently than I did when I worked at the gym as a trainer. There were small things I needed to do differently that have made a huge impact on my success. It helped me know how much to charge to fit the needs of the community while still being profitable. See, in my area the closest gym is a 10 minute drive. I found out that I could have my clients over to my house or meet them at theirs and save time.

I know I’d still be stuck in the old routine of working for someone else if I had not found this guide. I am setup now to train the right amount of clients and still have enough free time each day to take care of business and my family. All the time making more money than ever working in a gym. No more middle man.

I am booked up in a way that I don’t have to worry about many cancelations or no shows and rarely find quitters. I am training people who want to succeed and it’s incredibly rewarding. I feel like I am helping people and it’s a very fulfilling experience. I might still be stuck in that gym without this information, so that’s why I made this page.

Be an Excellent Fitness Trainer by Getting Personal Training Certificates

Personal trainers are always bugged by the issue of getting training certificates. Some think that it’s not necessary at all while most of them are saying that it’s a secret tool for having a successful personal training business or career. Being acquainted with several people in the fitness industry, I have to agree with the latter opinion. Getting personal training certifications is certainly worth every penny, effort and time a trainer will spend on it. It can give you a boost in your self-confidence knowing that you are well-trained and skilled enough to assist clients in their daily exercise regimen. Majority of personal trainer veterans I have spoken with attest to the value of having a personal training education. It did not only bring them lots of clients and incomes but as well offered them techniques plus ideas on how to become an excellent fitness trainer; which is currently in demand in the personal training industry.

How to Spot the Best Personal Trainer Certification Course

Due to the obvious importance of training certificates, a lot of personal trainer certification courses are now being offered in the market. So how do you spot a quality one? Just read the following tips my certified personal trainer friend shared with me:

* Choose One with a Professional Mark of Merit

Don’t get lured by training certification that makes a lot of promises yet can’t show you a professional ‘mark’ of merit on their institution or program. A fitness certification organization will get this professional mark through a third party that checks the tests and training they give to their students. The third party is an accredited body of unbiased specialists who will guarantee that the certification of the institution is at par with the strict standards that the fitness community has implemented. This will establish that the organization is offering top personal training certifications.

* Teaches Fitness Evaluation and Medical History of Clients

It’s important that your chosen personal training institute teaches the value of getting the fitness evaluation and medical history of your clients during their enrollment to your fitness training service. This is to give you an idea of the overall health of your client so you won’t risk any dangers between you or the student later on. For example, if a client is suffering from a disorder such as anxiety and is taking medications, it will surely affect her exercise training with you; hence you need to be aware of that situation. This will also help you assess what kind of fitness program to offer to your client that will give him/her the best outcomes. A personal training certification that does not teach you the correct client intake is risking your career and the safety of your student as well.

* A Training Program That Calls for Continuous Learning Sessions

How can you expect to learn a lot and get your money’s worth if you don’t have continuous hours of education? A credible national personal training course must require you to have continuous hours of learning. They should let you continually learn stuffs about how to train efficiently and safely; as well as creating specific programs for your clients with the use of various teaching methods.

Improve Your Career and Credibility with Top Personal Training Certifications

Being a fitness trainer is a not only a financially rewarding career but something that you can be proud of since your are playing a vital role in the lives of those individuals having a hard time attaining a fit and healthy body. So it’s just fair that you offer your clients the best service by getting yourself trustworthy personal training certifications. The training certificate will do a great deal in enhancing your credentials as a fitness trainer and in acquiring the trust of your future clients.
