Personal training advice?
I am looking to study online to get my personal training certifications but I am confused…there are so many certifications! Which one should I look for to obtain? What is the highest most respected certification in health clubs?
if you can i think you should go to school not do the Computer thing. a lot of people are trying to get your money. i don’t trust that on line paper.
Does anyone know about this company. I just received my certification from them and how does it compare to ACSM, Ace and others? They said they would hire me to proctor exams has anyone done this before and was it a good or bad experiece. Thank you Shawna
Great program. I proctored for them in 2004 and unfortunately let my contract run out without renewing it. As a proctor I got an opportunity to speak to a lot of differnt types of fitness professionals and what I learned was that ACE and some of the others who are really well known are not as good as Scirion who is not as well known. The ACE and NASM exam are easy compared to scirions. ACSM is a great certification and you no longer need a college degree to get one so that’s really cool.
Anyway, I had to stop because I moved back to Sandy Hook and so I basically had to forfeit my three centers I ran in Dallas. It was a really good opportunity and you should do really well.
