Question about the Navy SEALs?
I can do around 120 pushups 130 on a good day to TMF in 2:00 minuets, I can do numerous amounts of sit-ups and pass the 100 mark in 2:00 minuets, I can do about 28 pull-ups, I consider myself as a average swimmer and capable of passing the NFPT with a good score on the swimming part, and I can run 2 miles in 10 minuets, I’M AM NOT SAYING THIS FOR BRAGGING RIGHTS BY ANY MEANS…It has been my dream since I was a kid to join the Navy SEALs and have been training rigorously for the past 4 years…
But I’m 5’5 maybe 5’6 on a good day and my question for you is will the instructors judge me on my height rather than my abilities
Thx
That’s good that you want to follow through on something like this. You may want to think about this however. If you don’t make it in the seals there really isn’t any other combat arms jobs in the navy. I’ve been in the marine corps infantry for four years and have been on numerous navy vessels. I can’t tell you how many pissed off guys I came across sweeping the floors or shinning brass. All because they didn’t make it either they weren’t in good enough shape or like most people sustained injury. Just something to think about the army or the marines have various units that are similar to the Seals just not as well known. I’d go army they have so many options. Anyways just thought I would share that with you.
