National Academy Of Sports Medicine

What are good exercises to give to clients?

I am a soon to be certified personal trainer (by the National Academy of Sports Medicine) and I would like to know some good exercises I can give for my future clients. I workout often and I know plenty of exercises myself; however, many of them will not be appropriate for many clients. Assuming the client I will train has the cliche goal of wanting to lose weight, what are some great workouts that are not too hard, but challenging at the same time? I welcome all and any exercises, hopefully I can look into them and modify them if possible. Thanks

Mostly u wanna do compound muscle exercises that attack multiple muscles at one go, creating a higher metabolic burn. Squats, deadlifts, arnold press, bicep 21 curls, pullups(assisted), bench press, reverse delt flyes…etc u get the picture keep the intensity high… for fat burning all u need to do is keep their heart rate in the zone. According to their fitness level u can change their rest times and tell them to jump stationarily between sets for just 30-45 seconds.sky is the limit. hope this helps
