Need Computer IT support Certification?
I am looking to be a computer technical support in my area.Im only 14 years and have a few clients already and they really think im smart person. I am very good with computers. I can handle about any problem that my family comes up. And let me tell you i have fixed virus hardware malfunction, Built my own computer etc…
But my real point is I need some notable certification that can extend me skills while giving me something to brag about. I am looking in the support area for small Business/home and personal technical support. I would like to start easy and build up. Right now i run windows 7 and I on chapter 3/14 in microsoft windows 7 certification.
My requirements is it must be under 1000 dollars. No classroom training, just booklets. and it must be able to get certificated in it. Please give me some ideas from easy-hardest.
CompTIA A+ Computer Repair is a notable certification that is really the basis of everything about computers and fixing them (whether it’s software, hardware, networking, troubleshooting, etc.)
You might want to look in that. I think you would probably learn a little bit more, but from what you’re saying, you’ll probably know most of it. There are exam objectives you can look at in the overview to see how much you know/how much you don’t. You have to take two exams to get the entire certification.
After saying that, I’d say that this is one of the easier certifications to get from CompTIA. If you want to go after something more challenging, take a look at the other certifications on the left hand menu in the overview.
