NASM personal training certification questions?
Hey hey. Been very interested in getting my personal training certification and have read that NASM is pretty much the most well known around. However, it is quite pricey to get it. Is there any way to get the materials needed to take the test from somewhere cheaper? Am I able to borrow or buy the books from ebay or something?
How often should I be studying in order to prepare for the test?
Also any feedback from personal trainers on how they like/dont like their careers would be awesome. Always looking for more information
I have my NASM & studied a little every day. I had both the book & the disks, so after I read the chapters I would watch the lessons. The exam was definately far easier than I had anticipated it to be.
As far as getting your certification, you might want to get a cheaper one like ACE, most of your clients aren’t going to know the difference anyway.
