Acsm Personal Trainer
Where can i go on-line to get certified as a personal trainer?
I want to get certified preferably through AFAA, ACSM, ACE, BSMI, Cooper, NCSF, NASM, NSCA, or NFTP. I can’t afford to quit my job and take classes but I have got to get out of my office. Fitness is my passion and i would love to have a career in it. Any help?

I used to be a personal trainer. If you live in a state that either has clubs owned by Town Sports International (most likely to be so in the Northeast, such as New York Sports Clubs which is where I worked) or has a 24-Hour-Fitness (west, southwest, south), chains like these tend to groom their own trainers, have in-house training for trainers, and sometimes, will pay to certify you. You might find that you don’t have to tackle certification first before getting out of your office is a possibility.
