Ferret adoption interview coming up?

Hi, I’m adopting a ferret or two from a ferret shelter. They require a interview to make sure I’m ready for them. I just want to know what kind of questions they will ask. Also, what should I wear? I am more than ready for little fuzzbuttz, so please help me ace this interview! Here is their website, if it helps-

oh Kingwood! I’m originally from Sugar Land. Anywhos, just noticed that and thought it was cool.

Ok, they are probably going to ask basic questions like:
– what type of housing do you have?
– do you have a steady income?
– do you have an available vet, or a vet in mind?
– is your house ferret proofed?
– are there any dogs or cats that the ferret is going to interact with?
– are you prepared to take care of……(Fill in)….?
– how are you going to keep your ferrets cool?

They are also going to make you sign a contract so that you do not adopt out your ferret, unless its a family member. So be prepared to be “stuck” with this ferret no matter what. You are contractual bound.

I would just wear a nice t-shirt and either a pair of nice jeans (no tears or bleach marks) or a pair of simi-casual pants. Wear tennies or a nice set of sandals. Don’t wear shorts, I know its hot in Houston, but you want to look presentable AND comfortable. Remember, its not a job interview so you don’t need to be business casual. You just need to look nice.

Also, if you already haven’t, run to Barns and Noble and buy “Ferrets for Dummies”.

If you need any thing else, or have other questions please let me know…owning a ferret in Texas is a bit different than owning a ferret in other states. (at least that’s what i’ve kinda figured out. ^_^ )
